BTW, are we ever going to get a new classic mega man series game, rather than this 'Virtual Mega Man' spinoff stuff? Does not look the least bit interesting...

That said, it could definitely be entertaining. I had a good time playing the single level multiplayer demo they had back in September, and I'm definitely looking forward to it. Now I have two games I need to finish before the end of August, Prime 2 and Batallion Wars.

And Phantom Hourglass was revealed way back at GDC 2006! It's possible that they're holding it for a holiday release, but still, Nintendo really needs to find a way to speed up Aonuma's team's development..

I guess what I meant to say GP is that they don't stand a chance of affecting each other in any real way. They might both do well, but it has nothing to do with the fact that they came out close to each other.

Ah I see, that I do agree with. I really do hope BWII does better than the first, which was a quality game that deserved better sales. Not to mention it better do well so I can play people online. Hehe

I CANNOT WAIT!
QuoteHmm? I thought I implied that Nintendo may want to hold off on releasing Galaxy for a time where the Wii isn't selling out. Who knows when that might be, but if the Wii is sold out through 2007, it could be a waste of Galaxy's potential to release it this year.
Also in regards to another post, does it really matter if Mario Galaxy is a system seller or not? If Nintendo is still selling out everything they produce, which is far more than the competition, shouldn't that be what matters?

Okay, so I guess I'm getting a Wii by August 20, assuming I can find one by then. Every time Nintendo comes up in the conversation my brother asks me "when is Metroid Prime 3 coming out?" Now I can finally give him an answer and maybe he'll stop bugging me.
I think Batallion Wars is more likely be overshadowed by Metroid than Halo. If a Nintendo fan is on a budget they're probably going to make sure they have enough for Metroid. But with Batallion Wars coming out only a month after they may have to skip it. With really big games you can usually skip it and buy it later but Batallion Wars might get overlooked. It may be a title that looked good at the time but you didn't have the money and then when you did get the money other titles were available that caught your interest more.
