Title: Deus Ex 3

Eidos says their Montreal studio is working on a new Deus Ex game.

I would be excited, but after Invisible War I have to wonder how much life is still left in the franchise.
They should totally continue from where the Omar ending left off.

I'm the same way I'm excited about Deus Ex 3 but after Invisible War I'm worried how its going to turn out.
But part of me has faith that its going to turn out good.

If Spector is more hands-on this time it'll be good, IW suffered from Spector being more of a supervisor and letting the team do too much the way it wanted.

I don't know how much they could do with the Deus Ex storyline, I just want the amazing depth of gameplay that the first one had. Apply it to a totally different storyline if need be.

Ion Storm is gone.  Spector's working at his own new studio.  He's not gonna have anything to do with this game. ):

I hope they bring back the depth of the first game, too.  Ion went way overboard with "streamlining" the game to make it more accessible with IW.  While I do think that some of the changes made in IW were at least with good intent, the world was so devoid of detail compared to the first game that I sometimes wonder if maybe they were rushed more than they've let on in any of the interviews I've read.

I have no faith after DEx2.

I loved DEx1 to death, though.

Invisible WAr has the sin of being developed with consoles in mind.
With those limitations and the universal ammo system DE2 was DOA.

Ironiclly I first played DE2 on the Xbox then I went and got DE for the PC.
DE2 is good, just not as good as the first one.  
I like the endings of DE2 better, they are much darker.
