Title: My Sims DS

The counterpart to the Wii version!

They'll probably be interoperable and unlock features in each other (I'm soooo buying both!), but they obviously share an awesome art style! (Wii shots, DS Shots) Also, the DS version, instead of being set in a straightforward open-ended town, is set in a town that depends on tourism! You'll be responsible for reinvigorating the local economy by developing and socialing the place up, apparanetly!

Oh... but how it compare to Animal Crossing? According to a recent Gamespot preview of the DS version...

Day and night circles that determine which fish you can catch and which characters you'll encounter, among other things, will come into play, but the days will only be around 10 to 15 minutes long and you'll be able to fast forward

I wonder if the Wii version would have a similar 15 minute day night cycle, or if this is purely something to give the handheld so it plays faster, differently, and is unique compared to its big brother/sister!

I imagine they want the player to be able to pick up and play the DS version at any time they have a chance do, so that they schedule playing the game around their life, and not the other way around.  I think that's a smart decision, so long as you don't have to force day and night sequences regularly.
