Title: Re: DS taking over...anime?

I was just thinking, remember those GBA Video carts, wouldn't it be cool if some anime studios started releasing their movies/episodes on DS carts? Just a thought.
They would have to be under $20.00 and come with some exclusive DS content or something to make it worth it but could be a neat idea. Or has this already been done, I'm a little behind on what the DS is doing.

Those GBA video carts were horrible.

But doesn't DS have better processing power and could handle the animation better?

Doesn't matter. Ask Sony how well proprietary video formats work in handheld video game systems.

I don't mean a replacement or companion to UMD or DVD or anything, just anime shows. Sony was wrong in thinking the PSP fanbase wanted to watch old movies on their systems, when in stead they would rather watch Family Guy and South Park. Stuff like that would work on a hand held game system. The GBA carts would have been fine also if they could have stored more episodes, although I don't know what the quality was like I never had any.
But it was just a thought, one more that nobody likes.
