It's nice to see Nintendo is still doing the gold thing though. They very easily could have not done this and because of the disc medium most of us wouldn't have cared.
I hope they do this for any new GBA Zeldas and with the shiny gold plastic like the NES games had instead of the dull gold used for the N64 games.

Of course I haven't seen it in real life, so I may have to eat my words, but from the pictures I do declare it fugly, perhaps even butt-fugly.
In the realm of disks that look better, are you talking about any disk or just GODs? As GC disks go, I'd have to say I prefer both the oot bonus disk and the Eternal Darkness disk. As all disks go, you can't beat Blue Oyster Cult: Cult Classic, that's a sweet looking disk.

IGN also reported in their Q&A today that EVERY disc will be gold- no more limited thing.
Also, the Vice City disc is UGLY. Just that bad drawing of a girl in a bikini- not stylized or cool at all.

I do have one bone to pick, however. The box... i think it look better before they added the lines going toward the center. It's not a big deal though, I still think it looks good.
