That way the last post you see is the one with the intended text in it, the first post gets edited so that is can be easily overlooked.

But the first one isn't the "double post".  The second one is.  When you edit the first one to say WHOOPS, DOUBLE POST I'm sitting here like no it's not; I just read a post by Bill, not you.

would it make you feel better if I edit the 2nd one instead? It doesn't really matter to me, but if its really bothering you I think I can make a mental note to only edit the second one.

I'm used to double posting, though I haven't done one for a while.  Everybody should be because a while back everybody was doing it because of the forum problems.

Frankly, anyone who double posts is an idiot. Is it that hard to figure out how to post a message correctly?

Oh, I only have to hit reply to topic once? I thought I had to hit the button as many times as I could to beat out other people trying to post to the topic. I guess I'll never be able to work this thing. Because I'm stupid.
