And how do we know we have a glitched copy?? I remember mine froze once but it never happened again so I really doubt it's glitched.

The glich is that when you first enter the room with the gaint sky cannon near the end of the game and if you save before talking to the guy there to get him out of the room so you can warp the cannon elsewhere without being seen, the game gliches and when you restart the game at the save you start at the cannon room but the guy wont be their because the game saved with him standing where he was before you first entered the room but the game acts as if he was still there. This leave you unable to leave without talking to him or warp out cause the game thinks he's can see you but it's impossible to talk to him because he not there and there not way to reach him...

Did Nintendo change the game at all besides this? I'm tempted to get a new copy just because if I don't I know I'll screw up next time I play this game and hit a glitch. But if they changed anything (like the music in the Fire Temple or the green blood) it might be worthwhile to hang onto my original copy.

I doubt they change anything beside the cannon room glitch (and maybe another one that lets you play the game during the title screen) because those made you reset the game 30+ hours in to it and make you go back to the beginning and are big enough to get nintendo to recode and replace the games to fix it.

There was another (less common) glitch that involved the broken bridge. I think if you saved on the wrong side before doing something you could get stuck. Did they fix that one, too?

With how long this game was being developed I'm very surprised they didn't catch all the save type glitches.
