Not sure what that really means. Is it just firmware for the SD? Is it something that will allow you to hook up an external HDD to the USB?
Any thoughts?

from what I can tell it allows for a usb storage device to function through the usb port. Or I'm completely wrong...

The information is in the Wii manual. The company is probably trying to hop on Nintendo's coattails and generate some interest in its products due to the connection.

It just a trumpeting of the partnership that has already been in place for months. The wii already has this stuff inside, its just that Nintendo has yet to make use of these abilities.
eSOL Co., Ltd. is just making sure that their name is known and tied to the succesful Wii, nothing more nothing less.

well, i got my external HDD specifically for this in hopes they would ass support for it so I could back up all my VC games to it
