Title: Mother 3 Soundtracks on iTunes

No, the game isn't coming to America (yet), but you can download the music on the cheap.

Those of you who long to see new Game Boy Advance games will be disappointed to hear that Nintendo still isn't translating Mother 3 into English.  Just as we were beginning to forget about the game, someone over at Nintendo Japan and HAL Labratory decided to O.K. the release of the two Mother 3 soundtracks onto Apple's iTunes music service.  Nintendo, why must you tease us so?

The two OSTs are entitled Mother 3+ and Mother 3i, and if you have iTunes installed on your computer you can simply click on those links and be taken directly to the iTunes album page.  Each virtual CD will set you back $9.99 to download, which isn't a bad deal considering the costly import alternative.

If you'd like to see Mother 3 the game come Stateside as another Earthbound title, maybe strong soundtrack sales would help it along?  It's anyone's guess at this point.

I don't know.  I imagine if there were strong sales, they'd just chalk it up to the guys over at starmen.net buying multiple copies.  It just seems to me like Nintendo doesn't even consider it.  Honestly, once Starmen.net translates it, I think Nintendo should just buy their translation, run it through the treehouse quickly, and then release the game using it.  I'm sure starmen.net would sell their cheap, just because they want to see the game released.  I mean, I really don't see how Nintendo could lose releasing it in at least limited quantities.  If they made 50,000 U.S. copies, I'm sure it would be a complete and total sell out without advertisement.  Would anyone at Nintendo disagree?  I mean, look at FFVI Advance.  It did well despite the release time, apparently, it sold out at all those retailers that under-stock everything.

I'll buy 'em when I get home as a show of support.

They should compliment my Mother 3 GBA Micro set.
