It was one of the mayor improvements in the Zelda series. The Gerudo valley tune is kind of freaky.

How is the Gerudo theme freaky? It's probably one of the more upbeat songs.
The Ocarina of Time soundtrack is overall pretty cool. The only problem is that the N64 kind of sucked at sound so some songs like The Lon Lon Ranch song sound like crap because of Malon's crappy "singing voice". My other main complaint is that they put everything on one CD so nothing loops and great songs like Saria's Song are less than a minute as a result.
It's still a great soundtrack though. I use the Shadow Temple music at Halloween.

I downloaded a bunch of orchestrated versions of the songs in OoT's sound track (like the Kokiri Forest, Gerudo Valley, Overworld, Ending, Goron City)- simply magnificent. I have to say OoT has my favorite soundtrack for any game ever.
Also, I love that wind-blowing noise in the Shadow Temple. Veeeery eerie.

It's a good thing I bought that imported Hyrule Symphony album while I had the chance a few years back, cuz it seems to be sold out now.

Beane: It was Kazaa, I believe. I had gotten pissed off I could only listen to Zelda music while playing the game, so I downloaded about 30 pieces and burned them to a disc.

Ahhh, yes. Kazaa...never thought of that option really. Silly me. I'll start searching for it now.
Thanks, mouse_clicker

I hope you didn't get a pirate/bootleg/(whatever the term is) CD from eBay. eBay is simply crawling with such uglyness. I can't even find an authentic FFX Vocal Collection CD on eBay. It makes me mad that idiots actually make money as theives, and that they actually get positive feedback.
*Hugs authentic Ocarina of Time CD*
