Title: Japanese 10 Most Wanted

The-MagicBox updated their list of the ten most wanted games in Japan:

10 Most Wanted

Interesting to note that Biohazard 4 is #3 on the list, and Crystal Chronicles is 7. It's good to see there's still some Gamecube games the Japanese really want, even if the other 8 games on the list were PS2.

That list isnt entirely accurate, i noticed that Pokemon was never high up on that list and it outsold every other game put together last year. How do they compose those charts anyway? Is it just opinion? And also, i dont see F-zero on that list

Also interesting that Tenchu 3 is up there, although it's been getting pretty mediocre reviews stateside.

Well Resident Evil Zero got pretty much 8/10 reviews here but Famitsu have it a 38 or 39 out of 40 which is one of their best scores ever...People in Japan have different tastes...They loved cel-shaded zelda on first sight, we didn't (majority of us).

Zelda:WW reminds me of Samurai Jack, and vice versa; I really dig both.

I dont understand why everyone likes F-Zero so darn much. I couldnt stand the N64 version. I find it to be a boring uninspired racer that simply goes fast.

Mario -- Pokemon was never on that list -- because this top ten list only covers console games, not games for portable machines.  Duh!  

I still wonder about this list sometimes . . . all of the Resident Evil games have had pretty high rankings and yet only manage to sell decently in Japan.  I hope that same fate doesn't befall FF:CC.

Heretic!  F-Zero X was one of the best N64 games period. I've decided to have mercy and waive the usual punishment of being burned at the stake for disparaging F-Zero though.  Count yourself lucky.   j/k

Hmmm . . . I should have looked closer.  Duh!    I thought for sure it was only home console games.  My mistake.  I apologize.  Hmmm . . . that makes me really wonder how the list is compiled.  Anybody know?

I know Pokemon was on Famitsu's top 10 at some point last year.....
