Title: For you computer literate people

Lately I've been experiencing an echo of sorts coming from my speakers whenever there is sound or voices playing (Like YouTube or games). I didn't have this problem a couple weeks back, it just started, I don't have any microphones hooked up nearby so I have no idea what could be causing it!

How old are the speakers?
Mute all your sound devices through the Audio Properties and see if the effect continues when you turn the volume up or down.
If it does happen, then its probably the speakers themselves causing the problem. If not, then I need more information.

I had this problem once.
I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it, but it went away a few days later.

Just in case, update your audio drivers.
If that fails, try switching the speakers for headphones for a little while. If the sound stops, it's something with the speakers. If it continues, it might be a problem with your sound card.

I fixed a similar problem by slamming my speakers really hard on the desk. I now have a new set of speakers.

Well my headphones (which are only a couple months old) are doing the exact same thing.

It sounds like radio frequency breakthrough interference. The metal components are picking up radio waves, and, yeah.
