Title: MASSUGU GO!
Post by: Bill Aurion on February 27, 2007, 08:39:05 AM

Manabi Straight is completely awesome...Fantastic storyline, characters, production values, and humour, it's almost like watching Suzumiya Haruhi: The Younger Years (with a not-quite-as-selfish protagonist)...

Watch it...WATCH IT NOW!

I quit halfway through episode 2 and erased the episodes on my computer.

Meh.

About thirty minutes after they arrived my two cats wandered into the living room and the girlfriend lets out this scary as hell shriek. At first I thought she was horribly allergic or something, but then she grabbed my friends arm and started babbling about how cute they were and that they'd make SUCH A PERFECT COUPLE IF THEY WERE CATPEOPLE IN HER MANGA and which one she'd make "uke" and "seme" (one is a big gray monster of a cat and the other is a sleek little brown spotty tabby). Well, she said more in a less intelligible way, but that's about what I got from her spiel.

She stopped babbling after a couple minutes and just looked at me, giggling.

I stared back for a second and before I could stop myself, I said;

"I wanna be, the very best, like no-one ever was, to catch them is my real test, to train them is my cause. I will travel across the land, searching far and wide, each pokemon, to understand, the power that's inside."

I didn't yell it or anything, but I sounded pretty cold.

The incident ended with her crying and my friend calling me an ass and storming out of my apartment, dragging her along behind him.

Should I be feeling bad right now?

SUPER:

Hell no you shouldn't feel bad.  She was way too sensitive if that upset her.  It wasn't even directed at her really...you were just making a joke about having pets.

By the way I sing that song when my two dogs (play) fight all the time...its funny.

BILL:  Is that girl giving somebody on the internet an upskirt show?  I mean what the hell is she doing?

Is this a trick question?  She's putting her feet up on the computer... =)

She's the same character archetype as Natsuki (if I recall Natsuki's character in the Hime series correctly).

Bill:  No Trick question, but I refuse to believe she is just resting her feet on her computer.  It would not only be the most uncomfortable means view the computer...and I would venture almost impossible to view the monitor.  Just try it and see.

NOooooooooooooooooo, something much more  torrid is going on.  And I know what NWR member is on the receiving end.
