Title: Atari 5200? Anyone?
Post by: segagamer12 on February 18, 2007, 10:28:45 AM
Ok so here is the thing I was gonna put this in Technical Discussion or whatever its called but it should be ok here since it is a video game system. Anyways I have one of these Atari 5200 consoles, got it a couple months ago and am just now getting roudn to checking it out. Ok so then I dig it out and all the hook ups and find out that there is no where to plug in the powers supply *at all*. So I dig and I dig and I dig and I can't find anything, then I find this little compartment on the back of the unit and it *looks* as if there is supposed to be something there, but there is not.
Ok so what I would like to know is, what goes there? Is that where the powersupply is *supposed* to go? Am I missing a valuable piece or soemthing? I have tried looking it up on the internet and have't found anything yet. I know this maybe isn't the best place to look for info but I figured maybe someone here might have a clue.
I haven't had one of this model Atari since I was very young and I do not remember much about it.

I don't know personally but Wikipedia suggests that there are two possible power supply inputs depending upon which version of the console you have (2 controller port or 4 port).
