Title: Lunar Knights
Post by: Shecky on February 17, 2007, 02:27:30 AM
So I picked up this game, but before I open it I'm curious as to how the multiplayer works. Is it co-op? There seems to be two main characters.

Did you know that it's on WiFi in Japan? From what I can tell they took the feature out when they brought the game to the US.

Well, what are the multiplayer options here in the US?... (and if anyone has the JPN version, we can contrast)
Edit: I ask since no reviews seem to cover the aspect, yet the back of the game indicates single cart and multicart multiplayer options.
Edit 2:
Looks like multiplayer is simply a deathmatch between players. No Co-Op modes. Multicart looks to just let you use the items and weapons you've collected.

Looks like the WiFi option in JPN may only be shop supplies and bonuses and not gameplay. So I'm not to bummed.

I played through the first chapter of the game. It's pretty freakin good I must say. The menus seem really cheesy but other than that it's top notch 8/10 so far..

I beat it and it's another big notch in the DS' belt. I'm very impressed with it. I think the wifi is like the shop mode in portrait of ruin, but I really am just talking out my butt
