Dogs are weird but that tiny little thing looks like a paperweight, which I think is insufferably adorable.

I have a soft spot for two particular dog breeds, and this is the first of them.  You even got the right coloration.  Good work.

With proper feeding and care, she'll serve 4-6 in three years time.

Seriously, adorable dog.

There's nothing wrong with the name Olive.  You want an example of bad dog-naming?  A few years ago, my nephew's dog disappeared for the umpteenth time (we think people were stealing dogs from the neighborhood in the hopes that rewards would be posted for their return, but he's something of an escape artist and usually came home).  Eventually, a lady called and said she'd found him, and she just happened to have another dog of the same breed (Boston Terrier, my other soft spot).  My sister's family took in the other dog, a female, and my then six year old niece incredibly imaginatively named her Princess.  Eventually, Princess moved in with my parents, and two Christmases ago, my niece got a dog of her own, a female Yorkiepoo.  She tried to name her (incredibly imaginatively) Princess, but thankfully her parents wouldn't let her.  I have come to the conclusion that little girls should not be allowed to name anything.

i used to  have a dog named maddie. she was so well behaved, didn't do anything wrong ever. she was a mix between a poodle and a cocker spanial. only not hiper like poodles are. she was soooooooooooooo cute, but she died a few years ago. very sad.

aww... You had a Cockapoo?!?! (seriously, thats what their called).  We also used to have a cockapoo, she was so loyal, not very hyper (like yours).  She had the body of a cocker spaniel, but the curly hair of a poodle.  Her name was poochie (the name she had when we got her).  We sadly lost her a few years ago too, she developed a cancerous tumor and we had to put her down, it was very sad.

Anyway, sorry to depress everyone.  (back on topic) Olive is just too cute, Make sure you take lots of pictures before she gets old and fat!!

HAHHAHAHAHA

I don't know why people get small dogs. I guess it's just a preference.

To me, small dogs are quite useless in my eyes. Dogs are for (A.) protecting your sh!t; or (B.) playing with. Then there's that companionship, yada yada yada. I don't know about you, but when I play with my dogs, I either (A.) tackle them and show them who's boss or (B.) throw a frisbee.

You can't do any of that when your constantly worrying if it pissed under the bed.

lol.  I don't have that problem.  I actually prefer medium sized dogs.  Though I live in a small apartment so I don't have the room for one.  Hence why I have riley.

Now that makes me wonder if they used a real dog. The camera angles looked like the whole thing was prepared and I doubt the carcass would've stayed in one piece so he could present it to that woman but who knows.

Nah, its CGI. They do that sort of thing from time to time (getting run over by a truck, a giant anvil falling from the sky, etc etc) so I think its just more of that.

My dog weighs under ten pounds and it gets to be sub-zero in Chicago in Winter; damn right I'm one of those people.  I'm one of those people who doesn't want my dog to freeze to death.

In this case, grandma sent puppy a Halloween shirt and I needed to take a picture to send to her.  The shirt hasn't been worn since.

I can one-up that.  I went to one of those "fashion malls" that are all outdoor shops around a central plaza.  Woman walking her dog.  It had a parka, thermal pants, socks, and tied tennis shoes.  My mind was blown.

Our dogs like to be dressed up.

Also dressing up short-haired dogs is recommended if they are going to be living in area where the temperature is going to be cold and they are going to be outside for any period of time.
