Title: Outlook express and Wii
Post by: NWR_pap64 on January 28, 2007, 08:30:24 AM
Anybody here use Outlook express? If so, have you tried sending your Wii messages with pictures attached? When I was sending myself pics using OE for some reason they never reached my Wii. Normal text messages arrived fine, but messages with pics never arrived. I had to use Gmail in order to send the pics.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem with OE?

are you using some odd method to attach messages?
I selected the "attach" and selected the pic and it worked

I've been using the "Insert attachment" method, which is pretty much the same deal.

I just sent a message using your method. Let's see how it works out.

OK, here are the results of the tests:
- First try: I sent myself a pic using OE using the method Neo mention. Nothing happened.

- Second try: I sent myself an even smaller pic and still nothing.

- Third try: I sent myself the exact, same picture as the first time, it arrived just fine.

Something is definitely wrong here. Why the hell isn't OE sending pics to my Wii???

Short Answer: OE is the devil's mail client.

Perhaps it's a formatting issue? Are you using stationary or something?

has anybody tried "plain text" e-mails vs "rich text"?
