Title: Photo channel question
Post by: NWR_pap64 on January 25, 2007, 02:29:01 PM
Since I don't have an SD card, I've been sending myself some of my favorite pics to my Wii. Since the photo channel also plays Quicktime movies, can you send Quicktime videos to your Wii or are they only played when you have them on an SD Card?

You're using WiiVideo9 right? I don't think "normal" Quicktime movies work.

Also, I think movies are too big to send over e-mail.

Yeah, I downloaded the program a while back, but haven't used it yet.

I'll be the guinea pig and try it out later.

But my new question is, are there any SD card alternatives?

there won't be unless or until they provide USB hard drive or thumb drive support.

Also, has anyone else had a lot of trouble getting mp3's to play in photo channel.  For some reason, photo channel is very picky with my mp3's. I have a little over 500 songs but only about 100 play in photo channel

Of course, a lot more of them play in Excite Truck.
