what are all of the options that are available when you use the gba - gc link?

I'm not sure of the full details, but I think the GBA player will play as Tingle. He can show Link certain areas of the map and make Link look at what he wants screenwise. He can also throw bombs to hender Link, if he really wants to. Thats all I know so far.

Theres a couple other features but we won't know untill a full review is given. I know that Tingle helps Link get to where he normally can't. He can cast this green floating spell (sorta like the floating leaves in OOT) and Link goes straight up. He also gives Link tips if he gets stuck. This is supposed to be a 2 player with one person using the gba and the other using the gamecube. Sounds like fun.
