Title: Lets Say my Wii Gets Ran Over by a Cement Truck... Do I lose all my Money Invested in VC?
Post by: shrapnel09 on November 28, 2006, 10:39:12 AM
I dont think i saw this in the FAQ, but i do know that you cant transfer VC data, now i plan on spending a LOT of money in VC for certain reasons, i know the excellent quality game data will last forever (unlike the cartriges/systems). I plan on using my harddrive in my comp to store my VC titles for backup purposes.

Now i understand you cant transfer VC games to different Wii systems, but what happens when something happens to your own system beyond repair?  Do you lose all your Virtual Console investments in it sense its tied in with the system?  Please help, show me the answers.. thank you.

Nintendo has stated that if for something happens to your Wii were it cannot be repaired they will work with you to get your games back to your new console. We covered this when some people had problems that Nintendo made it so the games you get only play on the console they are bought for. (I think it is in feedback)
