Title: Animé Sims? WTF?
Post by: KDR_11k on November 24, 2006, 06:30:30 AM
Did EA have problems selling The Sims in Japan or why are they making an anime version for the Wii? And is that Wii exclusive or are there versions for other platforms as well?
And since when does EA make games specifically for Japan? Will they start buying out Japanese dev houses as well? Square-Enix makes a misstep and next thing they know they're EA Tokyo?

That game that got its screenshots posted on the front page. This.
Okay, the official website only says Wii so it's probably exclusive.

I heard that it's also exclusive to Japan for the time-being. I guess EA wants to capitalize on Nintendo's recent return to favour over there.

If they don't release this in the US it'll make Vance a very sad man.

Animal Crossing made a killing in sales in Japan so I think EA wants to captialize in cloning animal crossing with slapping a popular North American game brand on it.

Not surprised, soon enough we will have a EA Music game clone.
By the way Marvel Nemisis (fighting game) failed pretty badly, do u think they will continue to make a game to counter Street Fighter, Tekken, etc?
