Title: Clips on back of classic controller?
Post by: Therac-25 on November 21, 2006, 03:11:49 AM
After a mere 4 hours outside of a grocery store Sunday Morning, I picked up the expected bundle of white stuff. Zelda and Exitetruck both pwn.
However, I've noticed that on the Classic controller I snagged, there's a what appears to be two slots with spring loaded clips inside of them, and a release switch on the top.
Any idea what this is for? Perhaps a rumble extension?

No idea. Doesn't hook onto the Wiimote like you would think. Clearly, there was some expected use, but Nintendo has been mum. I'll check around and see what I can find out.

They called the clip a secret at E3. My personal theory is that they thought they may want to clip something on the back of it so they added it, but they don't have any specific plans right now.
