How long is it taking you guys to get into the wii shop? I am just hoping for moral support here. Cause some times it will only take a couple of minutes, other times it wont get on at all. :/ I have no problem sending messages, that only takes a couple of minutes. Even w/ pictures.

What channel is your wifi broadcasting on? changing from 6 to 11 made a big speed difference for me.

hmm yes I just did that, right before you said that, it connects in a solid 30 seconds now!!! Good tip.

About 10 seconds to connect and another 5 seconds to get to the Wii Shop menu.

Pictures do it for me sometimes, depends on my mood. Messages are good; some kind of feedback every few minutes is definitely conducive.

I have no problems - but I purposely bought a Wireless network hub recommended by Nintendo.
I have noticed that some of the Wii menu screens get little black lines across them once in a while, accompanied by some static. Does anyone else have this, or is it just my TV?

I switched mine to 1, and not only does it work now, it connects in a matter of seconds. Thanks!
