Title: Do You Like Hardcore Nut?
Post by: Karl Castaneda #2 on November 13, 2006, 10:33:07 AM
That title was totally Stan's idea.

Anyway, God's Favorite Podcast is back, and no, Evan's not in this one. Instead, my brother Gus joined in, so take pleasure in hearing his slightly deeper voice. For this week's episode, we go to task on The Simpsons, from the good ol' days to its decline to the upcoming movie.

Check it out here.

Warning: If you're not into The Simpsons, you're not likely to get most of the jokes. However, you will be able to enjoy the new God's Favorite Sponsor and God's Favorite Moment.

Enjoy (this shameless plug)!

Season five would be my favorite single season of the Simpsons.

David Silverman is directing the movie. Conan is not contributing to the film.

I'd be shocked if there ever is a show that comes anywhere near the quantity of quality that the Simpsons has put together over the last (almost) two decades.

Karl's brother is funny, but I can't distinguish him from Karl...

Karl hardly says a thing in this episode.  That's why it's hard to distinguish.

The music at the end was good.

Well, he is my brother, after all. We grew up together, and as such, talk similarly.

And Stan's (somewhat) right - I don't talk too much in this episode. It was Gus's first podcast, so I let him steal the show.
