Title: So ok whats the Chuck Noris deal anyways?

Do not take this personal and please dont flame or anything I am just curious whats teh deal with everyone and chuck noris? I dont get the appeal. can someone explain it to me?

Ok not what I meant. I KNow all about the guy have forever, I dont get what people like about him. Especilly here there seams to be some obsession.

Chuck Norris is awesome because he's 66 years old and still in better shape than most anyone here, could beat the crap out just about anyone, and he is the father of his own martial arts discipline.

Plus, people grew up watching Walker, Texas Ranger so there is a big nostalgia factor.

Well thanks Shy Guy for clearing it up. I always wodnered what teh appeal was, having also grown up with mister Norris I am very famailair with his movies and TV shows, I just didnt think he had sucha  strong folloowing till I started ocming here. He is cool and all I dont hate him I just couldnt figure oput all the obsession (people talk about him alot here)

Chuck Norris has never misspelled anything. If anything his word defines its spelling.

Chuck Norris has turned into a lame bible preacher, though. His article on what he thinks about the Chuck Norris facts was the kind of lame you'd expect a grandfather in a sitcom to spout.

Chuck Norris is slightly more down to earth then most Hollywood people.
Plus he learned martial arts from Bruce Lee himself.

If you really want to hear/see some a weird obsession about Chuck, play WoW.
Anyone who has played it for any length of time will understand what I mean.
