Title: Hi All
Post by: Timyeager29 on November 01, 2006, 09:57:54 AM
I just bought a Gamecube along with Medal of Honor European assault. I hadn't had a video game console since I busted my N64 on my sidewalk, and I really think it is a shame that they change consoles every year. I also hated to see all th cartridge games replaced with 2" cds. I liked being able to save my game & not worry about a memory card. What sucks though is that right after I bought the gamecube & the game, I found a great deal on a used console with 8 games, an extra controller, and 3 memory cards. It's on an e-bay auction, and one of the games is medal of honor. If anyone is interested, the link is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250044573538 , and it's currently listed at 35$. I bought the gamecube because the price had dropped so low, but I still paid a lot more & got a lot less. After looking through the package, I think I am going to buy a True Crime game. Has anyone ever played either of them? I always wanted Grand Theft Auto, but this is the closest thing to it on the gamecube.

I've also been flying a free flight sim since that new microsoft one came out. It's an RC flight sim, but it's pretty good for freeware. heres a link to that if anyone is interested. http://n.ethz.ch/student/mmoeller/fms/index_e.html

The gamecube is great though, and I still can't believe they're already replacing it. On MOH I can't seem to get the medal in the battle of the bulge. Is there a safer route through that level?

Hi there, Timy!

New console systems come out approximately every five years.

True Crime is very different from GTA... it's more linear, but a good game all the same.

Hey! You probably won't be buying it soon, but you should check out Nintendo's newest system, the Wii. It has an awesome controller that senses your motions.

Also, you should check out the Newbie Check in Thread

I have played True Crime Streets of LA and it is a pretty good game. I think it is far better than GTA but I didn't really like GTA that much and I liked True Crime cuz I am a huge Snoop Dogg fan and had to get this game for that.
