According to Cheap Ass Gamer, WalMart.com will begin taking Wii preorders Wednesday November 1st. Unfortunately, we don't know at what time they start nor how many units will be available, but if you must be absolutely sure to have one at launch, we recommend you get friendly with your preferred browser's refresh button early.

If they would have also included the classic controller as well then you save $13.38. Add Tax for you region as you see fit, (Walmart has a presence in all States). Then throw in the shipping which I'm sure makes up for the little bit of savings you get if they did give you the classic controller. Though it would be mighty convenient to have it show up at your door.

It's 2:43 PM EST when I first looked and they were already sold out.

I then read about Wal-Mart return stuff, saying I could return the whole thing if I wanted to when it came in. I also then thought I could sell it at cost to some deserving PGC person who missed out, so I went beck to order and it's back to saying sold out.

Selling at cost? I'm getting 3 Wii's on launch and I'm selling them for whatever they sell for on ebay (well except one which I'm keeping). I figure if they take advice like yours and think they can walk in on launch day and get one, then they deserve to pay more for being so naive

Would it bother you if I said I hate when people whine and complain about not getting a system at launch when they think they can walk right in and pick one up? If I'm going to spend 15 hrs in 14 degree of weather, then someone who didn't does not deserve the system at cost if they want one. I don't differentiate between whether it is a system I like or one I don't, because frankly that is a double standard.
