Title: limited zelda in Australia

i went to two stores yesterday, harvey norman and eb, and both said theyre only getting bout 20 copies of the limited ed zelda. according to them australias only getting 2000 - 5000 copies. i preordered mine, but they distributing such a small amount. crazy

Lucky I pre-ordered then. But that is a shame. We've gotta get news from Nintendo of Australia first though.
Sean: I don't know of any limited edition. If you're talking about the pre-order deal that you guys got, then no. I don't think that it's coming out here. But if there is only that many Wind Wakers shipped here initially, then there should be absolutely no problem with Nintendo of Australia giving the two free Zeldas for those that pre-ordered Wind Waker.

I've heard many stories via Hyperactive.com.au Some say they've been told by EB that you have to pre-order, some say they've heard we even get a memory card with the Master Quest disc...
I'd like to wait for an official word from Nintendo Australia, but who am I kidding? Ah well, I pre-ordered quite some time ago. I might ring up my local EB World and find out if they know anything...
*Rings up* EB World: Oh.. Yeah, well, we've been told you get a rather large donkey with Zelda if you've pre-ordered. Plus a jumping castle! Me: But what about the bonus disc?! EB World: Bonus disc? No, no bonus stages in Zelda for the NES Me: Wha? EB World: Hey, did you know Vice City features cars? Me: Indeed I did. But what about Zelda? The bonus disc? EB World: No, Zelda doesn't feature cars. How about dogs? You got one?
*Hangs up*

when i say limited ed zelda, i mean the preorder deal where u get oot with ww. in europe and aus its known as the limited ed. when i spoke to the guys at eb and harvey norman they were sure that aus is getting it, but as i said, its a limited amount. they mustve heard from a nintendo rep. or at least i hope. im only guaranteed a copy if the harvey norman store (moore park) gets some copies, and if aus actually gets copies. i went to moore park hn coz its one of the bigger hn stores.
