Title: Nintendogs over 7 million worldwide, Japan is worst market!

How come no one's pointed this delectable tidbit out yet?

Care of Gonintendo, which cites gamefront.de, we now know that Nintendogs has:

sold more than a million in Japan
sold more than 2.2 million in the US of A
and sold an amazing 4 million + units in Europe!

Europe! Europe! I love you! May you finally get a good corporate Nintendo over there who won't treat you like dirt!

We have - graphs of Nintendogs' success in Spain and France can be found somewhere in that massive DS Sales thread.. this was a while ago, though. I would have thought it sold more in Japan, though.. and that it had 8+ million by this time. I wonder what NSMB is at worldwide?

Wow!  Impressive sales in Europe.  For IceCold's pleasure, New SMB sales are:

  3,233,793 (Japan)
+ 1,342,000 (North America)
= 4,575,793

I have no idea what Europe's sales are, but let's play pretend and choose a conservative number.  I'll still assume that they've embraced the game more than North America, since Europe seems to be ahead of us in DS acceptance.  Let's pretend...1.5 million. Then the total would be 6.07 million - not far behind Nintendogs!

And Nintendogs is 3 games, soon to be 4.  Some people may have bought mroe than one copy of the game.
