Title: Seaman coming for Wii?

Quote A year ago, Sega revealed Yoot Saito was working on a follow-up to his quirky Dreamcast hit, Seaman, where gamers helped a freakish human fish hybrid via microphone. We haven't heard a blip about the game since, however, but Sega's opened the game's website, promising an announcement by the end of the week.
How come we haven't heard anything, though? Some speculation suggests a platforms shift, with Seaman 2 ending up on the Nintendo DS or Wii (or both?), but we'll have to wait a couple more days to figure out what Sega's been up to for the past 12 months.

Seaman 2 could be awesome assuming they made the AI more complicated and human like, also cut down on the unbelievably long start up the first game carried. Some more variety in the gameplay would also be welcomed, perhaps the Wii and/or DS can give this.

I, for one, hope nothing comes of this... I can already hear the jokes about people having Seaman on their Wii. Ugh.

I hope so! Seaman for DC was one of my favorite gaming experiences every, I just loved those little um fish, men, things. If it does come out I hope it has tighter voice recognition, that was the only flaw in the original.

But god if this were true, the game would make me cry. Seaman and his ability to make the mundane funny was amazing for the Dreamcast.

Well I'd say it's certainly arriving for at least one of them. Announcement this week? Hardly even subtle, is it?
Good news. I'm sure advances in technology will make the sequel all the better. As long as the writing stays sharp.

I think a game named Seaman is just so right for Wii. They go together so well, Seaman should be the pack in game for Wii.
