Title: Wario Ware
Post by: Bloodworth on March 03, 2003, 07:47:20 AM
I can't believe no one's talking about this game yet.  I'm looking forward to it more than anything else coming to GBA.  I played Wario Ware for about an hour straight on Thursday and really couldn't get enough.  If you want to know more details check out my recent impressions on the main site.

Holy bageebus.  that does sound awsome.  I had only hear a wee bit about it but now i am real excited.  I mean REAL excited.  5 second games.  I swear dude, God bless Nintendo.  Really.  only they have a package big enough to try something like this.  I hope it sells as good as it sounds.  Thank you for this post, i never would have found it.

This is certainly one of the more unique looking games coming along this year (although E3 didn't hit yet so...)

I am very interested in it of course, 5 second microgames sounds excellent, fast paced, and provides enough variety

I'm very interested in Wario Ware. I just hope it has a "free play" mode that lets you play whatever microgames you have already played before. I don't want to go thorugh 100 games every time I want to do the F-Zero game.

Hmm... searching for the game may actually take longer than playing the game

I was excited about the game from the first, but was not sure if I would like the five second length of the mini games. My question therefore for you is... Are they fun after the fifth time? If so, then this game, what with 200+ micro games, will be amazing. But is it aggravating to only get a few seconds with the games?

i bet you could just play it whenever.  It wouldnt be a game you would play through then put away.  You could just take it out whenever.  Something that you could always do.

Wow! The second I read the impressions I got really excited about Wario Ware! When I first heard about five second microgames I was a little hesitant. But hey, it sounds great!

You don't have time to get aggravated.  There are times where you just don't get it because you haven't learned the controls, but you just learn to deal with it the next time that game comes up.

One of the things I should have stuck in there though was how much fun you have just seeing the different things you have to do.  When it asked me to pick a nose, I was rolling.  The instant joy of seeing one of your favorite classic games popping up or noticing details like I mentioned with the Dragon Warrior spoof is all part of what makes the game fun.

5 second minigames? Oh well, I'll see what it's like in the future..

Also.. Is there any snapshots of the minigames AT ALL?
