Title: Ikaruga Discussion
Post by: Razex on March 02, 2003, 07:52:01 PM
I find myself really looking forward to this game. It looks really damn cool, and it's a old-school game that is insanely hard. I'm definitely going to pick this game up once I finish Zelda:TWW. I didn't think it was going to be a big release, but I stopped by EB today (to finally buy Advance Wars) and I saw Ikaruga boxes with stickers for pre-order on them. I didn't pre-order it myself...but I'm definitely going to pick it up. It will be a great change of pace after Zelda.

I'm picking Ikaruga up on release date EVEN if I didn't finish Zelda. I dunno, but I just got the urge to play a good 2D top-down shooter.
No worry though, I'll get my ass handed to myself in it and I'll just go back to Zelda.

I also can't wait for this game. I love the old school space shooters like Gradius and R-Type. I'll probably wait til my B-Day in April before I get it.

Game looks good but for $40, I gotta pass. I think I'll wait till I can find it for $25 or so...

I'm held off ordering it for Dreamcast and Gamecube imports. It can't come out soon enough.
I miss 2D games.

My friend got the Dreamcast Import and we're playing the hell out of it . I'll be picking it up on release.
And to the person who said he'll pick it up at $25... good luck finding it first.
At $40, you can't go wrong with a game of this quality. Hell, over 90% of the games on the GCN that are priced at $50 upon release can't compete with Ikaruga IMO
Plus it's some really great old-school challenge. Prepare to die a lot
