Title: Component Cables
Post by: ThePerm on July 07, 2006, 03:21:02 PM
One day i was at a used store called bookmans. When i was there i saw all sorts of accesories, i saw gamecube component cables in a japanese box. 15 bucks. Bought it instantly. Work great, i plugged them up to my tv, and got a bit better color than the s-video cables(third party), but i have to play it interlaced...one day i will have a progressive scan tv.

Congrats.  If we are talking about collections I am like 1 game shy from having every game that uses GBA Connectivity, Pac-man versus, and I have all the game that use the Dance pad, Mario Mix and Karoake.  When you have a TV that does Progressive the difference is much more profound.  In fact when you go back to regular you keep wondering why it's so fuzzy and hard to read.

Wow these cables are so hard to fine. Does anyone know any place online where you can?

Artimus > There's this place downtown, assuming you are in the GTA, where I usually go and once I saw component cables just like ThePerm described. I haven't been there for a couple or more months but I'm sure if they don't have it they might have it on their other location also in the GTA. Tomorrow I can tell you if they still have them or not and if they do I could just PM you to their location/phone number/etc, if you want. Luckily I got mine when Nintendo.com still had them.

Ahh, I'm not in the GTA until September, but if they have them let me know and I can try as soon as I get back!

eBay has some but they got for like $50. Just not worth it with the Wii coming up.

WOW! Now that the name Revolution is gone, there's no hope for REvolution and Dance Dance Revolution Revolution. But after reading this I had an epiphany. GTA:GTA! Brilliant!
