Title: Nintendo's unannounced games
Post by: bustin98 on June 14, 2006, 05:10:41 PM
So, I was browsing IGN's blogs and found this bit of info from Halo_Prime:

Apparently if you go to Press.nintendo.com
Username: Media
Password: Dslite

Then go games and pick wii. There will be alot of games that were unanounced such as Digimon, Gundam, and tamagotchi are being made by nintendo.. Taito has three titles in development. There are also games that are just listed as genres such as Konami is making a soccer game or AQinteractive is making a Boxing action game. Spike is making Jawa. Ubisoft is making Open seasons. There are alot of action games listed. A few sports games listed. A couple developers such as namco have listed an rpg. But the biggest amount of unanounced games have TBD from companies I've never heard of really. Or just small developers. I counted about 70+ titles.

I checked it out, and looks like someone updated the list because those games are now gone. But its a bit of a heads up.

Gonintendo.com reports on the rumor with jpeg screen caps of the documents in question here.

They also report on an alleged game list that's supposed to have been sent out by Ubisoft, still very much in rumor territory. Read about THAT here.

Eh, looks like I didn't click the right link. The list is still there.

But it seems this is old news that I missed somewhere along the line.

The Nintendo press site has updated since that article on gonintendo.  I don't know how many are new to that list, but I did notice at least one "Mobile Suit GUNDAM" (not that SD GUNDAM).

that list was on nintendo's e3 media site (for the press, but the user and pass got leaked) and seems pretty much unchanged...

UMM, LEAKED?

The Press page says the site will be open for non-press for a limited time -- in hopes of attracting more media outlets to be official press partners so Nintendo gets more attention.

The user/pass is posted for the public ON PURPOSE.

Gundam was shown at the conference for about three seconds. In those three seconds I was able to come to the conclusion that it looked God awful. I'm interested in seeing what the Digimon game will be like though~

the one they showed and was playable was the SD Gundam one, not the "Mobile Suit Gundam" one.....

and I hope the Digimon game is decent for a change....
