What happend to the Palm/Nintendo vPocket product? we were told we would see info about it before or at E3 but NOTHING!!!

I don't remember this. Was it official?
edit: oh, googling it, it was just a trademark Nintendo filed. I'm vaguely remembering this now. Yeah, not something I'd get your hopes up about. It could be anything, it could be nothing.

It was known as the organizer plus, and is a pda like software designed for the ds. As of May 2006, it was no longer being published.

argh!!! why!
my new ds lite would be so much better with an SD card slot and some built in PDA/Media function. how hard would it be to put in an sd card slot? they allready have their media codecs liscenced with the play yan. this makes me so angry.... nintendo if you listening the DS3 better have this or i'm going to cry.

After the psp bombed horrible, nintendo trying to just to stick to game only for the DS(L) and it's working so I don't think nintendo will ever release a vpocket since Iwata said he dosen't want to do anything mess up the DS success.

But they don't have to market the PDA functions, all they have to do is include the funtionality for those that wish to expand their DS to something more than just a game machine.
