Booooring. I'm not watching 12-13 minutes of a nerd blabbing into the camera.

I agree, me niether, I let it playfor about 10 seconds, and then I saw how long it was and closed the window.
But UB or Arbok, feel free to sumarize the video or quote the specific part you wanted us to hear

Somebody should tell him this "dude, you don't have a DS, you won't get laid" and then he walks away into one of the corners of a room and puts himself in the fetal position sobbing. Yeah so the guy doesn't know how to properly present his view of the DS, maybe he should socialize more.

...The DS has less colors than the PSP and.. it's a fact-look it up. Uh the Sony PSP uses a UMD; it's a Univesal Media Disc and.. it holds over one gigabyte-not gigaflop! With the DS they always use the term gigaflop; gigaflop is garbage, folks. You need a gigabyte. They try to trick you at Nintendo over there.. *sigh* *sad, distant look* Nintendo is a Japanese company, uh  and they*phone rings in the background* in some of their reports on their systems they try to trick you by saying giga.. giga.. flop or something? I don't know what they're talking about. They use all these techno terms to try to trick into thinking it's super fast. But the truth is, the Sony PSP is faster. And it can use a memory stick...

His friend's DS fell out of his pocket when he was on a trampoline and it broke. "it was unplayable after that... becaue it broke."

I only watched 90 seconds of it, so I'm afraid I can't offer much of a summary... other then being bored to tears for most of that time.

i might be the only person who watched the whole thing, i saw this a few days ago though and didnt bother posting it. its just dumb.

my favorite part is towards the end when he goes says:

"we all know what psp stands for; play station portable. what does ds stand for? i dunno, i dont have one"

(this after ranting about it being pointless for having DUAL SCREENS because it waste battery...)

oh and this was good too..

"the psp uses wifi technology that enables people to play psp together. if you have a psp, and your friend has a psp, you can play together. if your friend has a ds, and you have a psp, you can't play together. its a fact, look it up"

what a tard

I'd be heavily surprised if that was his actual oppinion. Seems more like a parody of a rant.

That's what  I gathered as well, kind of like taking the Daily Show or Colbert Report approach... except lacking in regards to any kind of humor.

Ok, so I checked out the dude's site and listened to the video. I think its a joke, and he says stuff just to fluff the feathers. Anyone who truly believes what he says wouldn't be smart enough to turn on a video camera.

I signed up for the forum just to see if people were talking about the video, and they are.

If he is a Sony fanboy, Sony can have him. If he's trying to be funny, he needs more practice.

"It's got 2 screens.  Who cares?"
"It's been out since 1987."
"It hasn't changed since the original Gameboy."
"The PSP has new features."
"Widescreen is the future."

This video is obviously very serious business and we should proceed with extreme caution! Also, Google Video is horse crap.

mantidor is from columbia, he might get mugged by a gang of ten year olds. i'd stay indoors if i were him.

just in case anyone might of taken offense to that, i wasn't really joking. my family is from a south american country and that really is what its like in some areas. even i being of hispanic decent could be a target if i went down to one of those countries and spoke fluent english. they would know i wasn't from the area and stalk me until they had a chance to take what they want. it's actually quite scary. In ecuador once when i was about 8 i was at a market with my family, it was my first time in an other country and i didn't speak spanish very well. anytime i sould say something in english people would turn and the non honest ones would stare....it was creepy. my parents had to take us back to my grandmothers house because we were all a little disturbed.

i know better now and make sure i have a change of clothes waiting for me that arent so american.

It isnt that bad, at least not in Bogotá or the other big cities... or any town to be honest, I personally think it was more an overreaction from your family, Ive been in Ecuador too, I didnt catch any of that.

this map is a little disturbing though

lol, I know he's from Colombia, and I'm from Uruguay, and here you DO get mugged by a gang of ten-year-olds if you're not careful (because you have to deal with their brothers later XD).....

but as expected, if you speak a non-native language, head will turn to look at you (but that happens everywhere...)

it not  only happened in Ecuador though, we visited Peru and Brazil as well (seperate occasoins) and it was the same thing, luckily by then i knew spanish a little better. one of my cousins did get mugged though, and he actually is a native of Ecuador and simply dropped some cash from his pockets and the kids followed him a while, then ripped his pockets out.

its brutal.

on a lighter note, i saw a video of this in my spanish class along time ago when i was in 9th grade i believe. i believe it was taken in Peru. an under cover cop was walking along the market place, one kid comes to distract him, the others come by and rip his shirt and try to cut his pants by the pocket. the cop lets it happen, and as soon as the kids turn a corner, BHAM! right in the forhead with the butt of a rifle. that'll teach em

Geek goes at it from the other end

It would have been funnier if he did this one first.

Jesus, no wonder about our image around there, you see videos of kids robbing people at class? its NOT that bad, seriously, I live here 24/7, I should know. You are talking about getting mugged, and you can get get mugged even in New York or Washington if you are in the wrong neighbourhood at the wrong time, thats a problem of big cities, not of southamerica. This attitude is exactly why I hate movies like City of God, they gave you the worst possible impression of the countries.

oh yes, geek on video... is not even funny :|

lol...mantidor sometimes i think you need to take some *stuff* cuz you need to relax. i wasn't trying to say that all latin american countries are 'third world' countries and have astonishing crime rates and every person there will mug you. yes, you can get mugged in NYC. as a matter of fact, i've SEEN people getting mugged in NYC with my own eyes. that doesnt mean every other big city has it happening on a daily basis. i was merely making an observation and trying to poke fun something, and then mentioned i did see a video like that in class. its not like the teacher was saying "this happens in every third world country in south america." he was just telling us a story of something that happened to him and some friends, everyone in class didn't believe that in some countries their police walk around openly with assault rifles, so he brought in a video documentary and said "this is what its like in some towns"

calm down man, relaaaax lol

interesting discussion....I'll add that actually, all of the Southamerican countries are third world countries....the only one that's improving a lot and coming closer to being first world is Chile, I was really impressed when I went there....
