The popular puzzle franchise comes to Nintendo's next-gen system.

Majesco Entertainment Announces First of Several Titles for Nintendo Wii  Console: 'Bust-A-Move Revolution'    


EDISON, N.J., May 16 -- Majesco Entertainment Company, an innovative  provider of digital entertainment products and content, today announced its  inaugural Wii product, Bust-A-Move Revolution, is scheduled for early 2007.    


An iconic property within interactive entertainment, the Bust-A-Move video  game franchise has been a worldwide favorite of puzzle fans, as well as  hardcore and casual gamers for years.    


"We intend to maximize the intuitive nature of the Wii controller to create  a revolutionary offering of the highly popular Bust-A-Move franchise," said  Ken Gold Vice president of Marketing.

I wonder how it will control.  I hope they don't use the pointing capabilities of the remote to click and drag in a similar fashion to the DS version.  That seems like too much work to me.  If I were making the game, I would simply have players hold the remote vertically to fire straight up, and tilt it left and right to achieve the angled shots.  That would be the most intuitive version of the game yet.

All I know is, I'm not paying $50 bucks for this.

This could actually be kind of cool.
I would love to see the game with an angled 3D view, cell-shaded graphics, Wii-mote controlled launcher, and 4P support with online play. And of course a budget title price of no more than $30.

I love Bust-a-Move.  Dunno if I'll get this, but I love Bust-a-Move.
