'Bout Time.  Some good artwork and generally no new info, but interesting nonetheless.

What an unbelievably bloated website. 3mbps isn't enough for this POS? Death to Flash and NOA's web team.

Edit: And, naturally, it doesn't work with Opera.

Bloated? I loaded it in under a second.

Yes. It's Flash. That's the norm, unfortunately.

Opera fails with the age confirmation. Which kind of eliminates half that page. Could be Opera's handling of the plug-in though. Or the unmitigated shittiness of Flash.

Yeah, Iwata reads game sites and blogs (presumably in both Japanese and English), so lots of stuff is trickling in.  Also the American executives seem to have more power now, as opposed to the Yamauchi era where they were ignored completely.

Reggie mentioned in an interview once that he reads enGadget and Joystiq. I wonder what he thought of Joystiq's awful Wii coverage?

He's gonna kick their ass and take their name. They deserve it too.

another awefule nintendo website

but i suppose it's clean and informative for NONGAMERS who'll venture to the site with the slightest hint of interest in the product.

cuz if it was a site i'd like, it'd have 36 hours of high quality video.

Awful? I thought Joystiq was full of Nintendo fans.

Yeah, you would think so from Joystiq's regular coverage. Blake, the guy who does Infendo, was the only one who was positive and fair out of all the people doing Wii impressions for Joystiq.

Is anyone aware that they now have short videos of all Virtual Console games on nintendo's Wii website?
