Is anyone else getting really stoked about this. I see these new developments, and I am already pitying my wallet. All the games look excellent and fun for the whole family. I might even be able to get my mom to play, and she is about as game-savvy as a rock.
Is anyone else thinking that some of these sports games might have a calorie counter built in? that just seems like exercise.

lol, excersise for fat gamers.
Yeah prettym uch every game that's been announce do far I want, and if they launch at $199 i'm getting it on day one.

Hey, has there been any announcement of a Star Wars game for the Wii? the controller just begs for a lightsaber game!!!

Not yet, but seeing as "Lightsaber OMG OMG OMG" was the first thing people said when they saw the remote, I can't imagine LucasArts passing it up. Star Wars has historically been connected with Nintendo. We'll get something. Wait for it...

I'm pretty psyched. thought today was a big win for nintendo.
what I'm still looking forward to - 1). dance dance type game - maybe something that goes on your feet/legs to track motion? or just a pad with two wiimotes? lots of possibilities there.
2). pikmin! gathering up pikmin with the wiimote is obvious but still looking forward to it.
3). star wars light sabers for sure
4).foosbal (table soccer) ?
5). more info on the nintendo 64 downloads - can we playthem with the gamecube controller? or will the new shell (which looks a bit uncomfortable) need to be used.
6). on line - can you play tennis on line as they did on stage, etc?
