World War II turn-based strategy comes to the dual screen.
CDV has announced that they are working on their first handheld title, a World War II turn-based strategy game for the Nintendo DS entitled Panzer Tactics DS. It features three single-player campaigns, wireless multiplayer, and online multiplayer using the Nintendo WiFi Connection. The online mode will employ a ladder ranking system, so commanders will be able to see how they stack up to other commanders around the globe. No release date was announced, but PGC will keep you updated with any information as soon as it becomes available.

Is this the same franchise as the classic Panser General I and II? I really liked those games back in the day...

I think they'd name it Panzer General if it had anything to do with that, no?
