Title: Is the Private Message System Working?

I only ask because I've sent out a few here and there, and a couple to mod's asking questions, and I've never gotten the first hint of evidence that anyone received them in the way of responses at all. Can anyone tell me if problems exist concerning the PM's? Thanks!

Completely understood. I was only asking because NO ONE has replied to any PM's I might've sent, not even mod's. If there's no problem, that means people just dadgum didn't feel like replying, and that's more than good enough for me. ;-)

Okay, apparently my thread here may not have been unfounded. I've sent out a few test PM's, and people have told me (people I know personally) that they have responded, and I'm SURE the mod's I've sent PM's to have responded at SOME POINT. However, I've never received the first response.
Can anyone help me out here? Do I have some option turned off, perhaps? Can any mod substantiate this? If you've sent me a PM, please let me know, because I've received nothing. Something's up! Thanks!

Sean: I think based on your forum profile that you have the private messaging option turned off. As a matter fact, the option is off by default. Simply go to profile and at the bottom of the page click the "on" selection for the option "Allow Private Messages."
Edit: See that mailbox/keyhole icon second from the right in the top right hand corner of my message? That icon doesn't appear in your messages, which is what lead me to think that you don't have the option turned on to receive private messages.

There we go! Thanks FF! I could've sworn I had that turned on. ;-)
Anyway, what if an old private message I missed had winning lotto numbers in it! That would suck!
