It is from a video that ran around a few years ago from a game called "Mario Universe" (iirc) that was a joke game. I believe the guy that made it worked on the Nintendo On video, if I'm not mistaken.
Point is that the cel shaded Mario stuff is fake.

Oh God I hope Nintendo doesn't use that song; I hate it so.
I third the Mario footage question. It looks cell shaded, but it isn't from any of the cell shaded Mario games, since they were 2D models.

I posted the answer in the other thread. But yes its from the Super Mario Universe clip made by the On creator, I was going to use his fzero one too but i didnt.

Y'know, I mentioned it starting off slow and getting better, but I think my only problem with the beginning is the random Hunters commercial footage. That does not fit the music at all, and it's not for Wii anyway. I've watched this a few times, I love the last bit.
