Post by: Hooboo on April 09, 2006, 08:27:11 PM
Anyone getting this problem where they keep getting matched with people but then it goes back to search mode and never starts a game? Also it seems like i cant play against more than one person for some strange reason. Then i get some wierd error message, (not sure what the exact one is 80071 or something)

And just now i got dissconected from the game host. O,o what is happening!!!

It's a Nintendo/Gamespy server issue.  Nothing we can do about it.

I think they just weren't prepared for such a huge amount of players, so I guess the servers they use for DS matches must've been pretty cheap in the end to make online games free. Hopefully they can make a better estimate of what to expect from all the gamers that will be playing in online matches with the REVOLUTION!

I get that error a lot less often now that I put my DS in the DMZ on my router.  Just give your DS a static IP an then set that IP in the routers DMZ.  Seems to help some.

The most common error code I seem to get is 85050. The easiest way to fix this problem is to disconnect from Wifi and then reconnect. It may take a few tries, but it usually works.

Do you think you could make your avatar a bit bigger? I can barely make it out.
