Well, at least those poor bastards finally have something worthwhile to do with their $400 systems.

How is that ripping off Nintendo? There's an NES emulator for just about every console ever created after the NES. It's  not the console ripping off Nintendo, it's people who download games they don't own...even though you can't buy them new anymore...and even if you could, Nintendo would see no profit from it.

Why does it look like its running with a slow framerate? LOL, the X360 can't handle a simple NES game.

It's not being played on the 360, it's actually running on the PC with Windows XP MCE and being streamed to the 360. More info here: http://www.xbox-scene.com/xbox1data/sep/EEuFuEpZyulqooUXhI.php

You could probably buy a Rev and download the entire NES library on it for cheaper than the cost of a 360.

Wow... that's really lame.

If anybody is thinking of replicating this, I'll sell you my old Tvator for 1/8th of the price of an Xbox 360

I don't see how it's lame. It's actually a pretty good technical accomplishment by the person who created it. In a way it's comparable to the GameBoy player - it's not actually the Gamecube playing the GBA games, it's only outputting the audio and video. Not the same thing by any means at all, but still somewhat comparable. Maybe this is being misunderstood. It's not someone playing an NES emulator on their PC, and streaming the audio/video to the XBox 360. The emulator is installed on the PC, but is controlled remotely by the XBox 360, so technically yes, he is playing it on the 360, it's just not physically installed on it, because homebrew is not possible at this time.

Which system is executing the actual program, the 360 or the PC? Because if it's the PC all he's really done is make the Xbox 360 the world's most expensive wireless controller hub and TV out box.

They both are executing the program technically. The XBox 360 is an actual Windows Media Extender.
