Title: I found a possum in my garbage can...
Post by: Karl Castaneda #2 on February 28, 2006, 04:26:20 PM
The outside garbage can, of course. It looked at me with the face of a thousand demons and then went back to eating what was left of that week's trash. I thought about getting it out, but I was too impressed by the fact that, not only was the garbage can still up, the top was still on. Honestly, if he wants it that bad, I commend him for his effort.
I almost feel like I should buy the little guy a beer.

No one likes a drunk opossum.
(Possoms live in Australia, after all.)

I found a rather large possum hanging from my fence, it was dead by the time I found it
it did make a good possum stew though

Opossums are usually friendlier about raiding your trash can. They don't knock everything over to get what they want. Now, those damned raccoons... THEY'RE the bastards who knock your cans over, usually after you put your left over chicken bones and grease into the can. Friggin' raccoons. I remember thinking they were the coolest animal in the world when I played SMB3. Now I want them DEAD.

You're not supposed to swerve at all. Who taught you road safety?

Little known fact...
In "The Princess Bride", Cary Elwes wasn't wrestling with a puppet but a live New England possum (looks like it was the runt of the litter, too).
If the garbage can was still there, it wasn't a NE possum.
