I cannot believe what is being done with the Bomberman franchise. Dark, moody, and "mature" is the new direction of the series, apparently. It looks like something out of a wet dream for a few posters on this board who want Mario-themed GTA clones and an X-treme version of Kid Icarus.

Lol I watched the video clip and before hand they had a trailer for The Hills Have Eyes and I was like "Whoa! are they turning bomberman into a movie?". Anyway for such a "mature" game that voice over was a bit of a princess. I wanted someone to scream at me and tell me to the buy that game or they would blow me up.
I don't know why Hudson is taking this direction it will confuse alot of people who associate bomberman with that little blue thing with the big white head. Oh well it will be interesting if they make any gameplay changes to the classic formula.
