So I'm working on this huge Neurobiology paper I have tomorrow, and while flipping through the pages of my textbook I come across this...

Hahaha, WHAT!? I HAVE SONIC IN MY BODY!
-
"Lower levels of Sonic hedgehog induce the expressions of a homo gene"
This needs updating, they haven't noticed all the recent new 3D Sonic games!
-
Thats funny as hell.
I think this is the definition of niche advertising.
-
Remeber how Nintendo sued over a cancer-related protein being called POKEMON?
-
Awesome. on all counts.
-
Sonic hedgehog is different from Sonic The Hedgehog.
Also, Bill, what the hell is your major? Are you smart?
-
Yeah, I remember hearing about this gene around the time they named it...but I forgot exactly why they named it so.

That's just something dumb people say. Just like how ugly people say we should all be judged by what on the inside.

How do you judge smart? How do you judge ugly?
No matter how smart you are, there will be someone smarter, and there is always someone uglier.
On that note, asking someone who is taking Neurobiology if they are smart is like asking a Playboy cover girl if she's beautiful . . .
Just Googled the protein, came up with this:

Smart: You can't tell when you are but you sure as hell know when you aren't.
