Title: Surely I cannot be the only one who noticed this? (ext port on the DS Lite!)

Or maybe I'm just the only one who actually cares about using the DS Lite to play Four Swords or Crystal Chronicles...

Hate to break it to you, but they already confirmed that there wouldn't be any GBA connectivity with this DS, either. I'm pretty sure I saw this exact question answered when someone in the press asked about it.
The EXT port is the AC adapter port and will not work with the GBA Micro's AC adapter.

Well see, my only questions is, why would they label it ext.? That's always been the label for a link cable port, and never for a power port, which usually labeled with voltage information.

I dunno, but the manual says it doesn't work with GBA multiplayer.

Not sure, but like I said, it was already confirmed that GBA connectivity wasn't in this one, either.
My guess is that "Ext" just means that it interfaces with something externally, be it an AC adapter or a link cable.

errr.. The port to plug the charger into the GBASP is labeled "EXT" and you can't use it for GBA multi-player or such.

The last I heard, the Micro doesn't work with games like Four Swords Adventure and FFCC either...

Well, it depends if you know what you're doing or not.
There is no official GBMicro -> GCN Link Cable. However, some resourceful individuals have managed to address the issue.

I was, of course, meaning through official means...

Wait, what prevented GC-GBA link cables from being used with the Micro in the first place?

The Micro has a different link port - they require special cables for any multi-player games.

ah crap does this mean I'm going to have to go out and buy an extra power charger so I can have one at work and one at home -_-x I would prefer if Nintendo just stayed with the current, GBA:SP & NDS power charger.
All I can think is that maybe since Nintendo doesn't have a actual link cable for the Micro they figure that they could get away with using the same power charger. It will be interesting to find out if all the hardware is in the DS Lite to support GBA connectivity. I think its unlikely but wouldn't it be sweet if it turns out to be a secret feature.
