Title: Will my Nintendog eat me?
Post by: JonLeung on February 03, 2006, 05:10:11 AM: I've got a miniature Daschund named Bogey. Ever since I got Nintendogs, I played with him every day. I at least took him for a walk (or several) each day and trained him to get gold medals on the championship level of all the competitions. I even got him 99 consecutive gold wins on the Championship level of the Obedience Trials.

But then I got Mario Kart DS. I was never that good at Mario Kart, but somehow I was able to keep getting further, and soon it was fighting for my attention as well. I played enough to unlock everything in the game, and then Animal Crossing: Wild World came out.

And now when I'm not playing AC:WW, well, I got a copy of CastleVania: Dawn Of Sorrow so that takes up my DS time too. And now I'm afraid to put Nintendogs back in...

Goddamn I remember Maxine biting my hand when I tried to pet her and Asuka would just look at me like I'm some stranger and walk away. They will still eat your food though, but don't expect a thanks, and that's if the pup didn't decide to run away.

Post by: Smash_Brother on February 03, 2006, 07:15:06 AM: I found Nintendogs to have a very brief novelty. I suppose the fact that I have cats to interact with probably kills my enthusiasm for virtual pets.

I toyed with the notion of having my signature say "Nintendogs' Status: Filthy and Neglected".

Correct. Goatse would be entirely too easy, anyway.
