Title: Animal Crossing Pattern Design Question
Post by: Gator on February 24, 2003, 09:19:35 AM
Does anyone know how (or if) you can give an animal (or someone via secret code) one of your original designs? I have used my pattern on my clothes, and when trying to exchange it with different clothes, it goes back to my pattern inventory. Is there a way to trade designs? Thanks in advance.

There is an amazing little program running around the internet that allows to to turn any picture you have on your computer (has to be .jpg, i think) into an Animal crossing bitmap. It's called Anicro Desapro, but I don't have the web address. I downloaded it and it works fantastically.

That didn't really answer my question, but it was REALLY cool. Thanks a lot. In retrospect, I guess this was a dumb question. It's sorta obvious that there's no way a password system could detail every color of the grid, so there's no way to send someone a pattern. I still don't know why I can't just give another animal in my village my pattern... there's got to be a way to do it. Then again, maybe the only way is to leave your design at the pattern store and hope someone likes it and wears it around.
